Good thing it's inexpensive

There is always so much hype with these products, then basically they all say the same thing: make yourself happy/busy/interesting and not always available. That men always want the chase first, then if you're spruced up nicely and easy going yet a little hard to get, you'll get your man. Oh, but if you don't, he wasn't worth getting in the first place. So the amazing formula to make him want you is only amazing if he is interested in the first place and happens to be a decent guy. Don't be clingy, don't be bossy, don't act like his mom, and don't give up your life for him (you'll be "boring.").
In this, it's said there's basically no man ever who will be exclusive after the first date - ever. They all want to feel like they're competing for a woman. Those kind of generalizations bother me. Same with a comment later saying the man will be so embarrassed he didn't bring up being your boyfriend that he'll make it up to you in spades. Really?
Encouraging people to be their best is fine, yet somehow it still had a sexist tone to it when advising to keep working out even after getting your man, wear makeup, not sweats all the time, etc., like the relationship must be pretty fragile if gaining weight and wearing your hair in a ponytail could cause him to not love you anymore.
I can see this being somewhat helpful for someone new to dating and dating advice. Otherwise, it's just another in a long line of hyped up "Get Your Man!" kind of things you can purchase. I think women who do not have the man they want and who are looking for advice, would benefit from a different kind of insight, not the same old, same old (50s advice w/a modern twist).

I am giving one star for the book and zero for the rest, purely because the video links in the book offering to provide more "tips and tricks," actually make you waste 40 minutes of your life by listening to the author repeat over and over again what these "tips and tricks" can do, but not what they actually are. When you've spent 40 minutes waiting for them to be revealed, you are told to buy another product which will reveal them. Scam.

When it comes to making a person feel good about themselves this book explains that and more. A lot of times we as women forget how to be that prize and allow a man to treat us with the up most respect. Being independent doesn't mean that your not a lady it just means that we are confident about who we are and we choose to be with a man because we want to not because we have to, there's a difference and this book explains the importance of that.
